Sailing through paradise. A trip from Ibiza to Formentera
This post is also available in: Español (Spanish)
Did you know the oldest being on earth lives underwater, here on Ibiza and Formentera? It’s called Posidonia, an aquatic plant whose meadows cover the seabed as a field under the sea.
Some of the plants wich form the entirety of Posidonia are 8.000 years old and are still breathing underwater: that’s the reason of our crystal clear waters and picky fauna such as seahorses, octopi, barracudas, moray eels, starfish and swordfish.
Join us on a tour throughout the day
We leave the port of Ibiza on 11 in the morning and head towards Pen Creek near Salinas, to enjoy a swim . Then we go to Es Pas, between Espalmador and Formentera where you can go walking from one island to the other. All the way you will be immersed in spectacular scenery.
Ensconced in a fast yacht which has all the amenities for your comfort and safety such as a large solarium, a great stereo and a comfortable platform bathroom, you can enjoy a unique setting. You will see small coves that will invite you to visit them and hidden caves that insinuate themselves between the waves crashing against the rocks.
Upon arrival we will be expected in the snack bar or Pirate John and Andrea where you will be able to taste typical dishes of Mediterranean cuisine, perhaps a paella Ibiza style, an extra tasty arroz a banda paired with a fruity fresh wine.
As the sun sets and after relaxing on the beach we will go back visiting Sahona o Es Vedra, which will put the finishing touch to an unforgettable trip!
